A dynamic muralist whose artistic journey began at the age of 14 in the Bay Area. With a remarkable portfolio of over 100 murals gracing notable locations in San Jose’s Historic Town, Twitter, Facebook, as well as San Francisco’s City Hall and all over the community of East Palo Alto, Imelda has become a local artistic force. The vibrant 2D murals showcase themes of food justice, social justice, and the beauty of plants and flowers.
While studying Food Justice at Syracuse University, she now delves into a graduate program focusing on Sustainable Food Systems and Agriculture. Despite facing unemployment during a challenging year in 2022, she maintained optimism by redirecting her energy into art. Embarking on a new artistic venture, Imelda unveils "The Blurr," a captivating series exploring abstract 3D art soon to be on display at numerous galleries.
